Unfortunately, we have no choice but to cancel tomorrow’s Llanelli Christmas Parade due to the upgraded weather warning. It would be silly to still attempt it with such a warning in place, and we want to make sure that everyone, our team included, stays safe.
Yesterday’s decision was tough enough, but this one has been even tougher. This is the first time in 8 years that we’ve cancelled an event outright, and we’re absolutely gutted to be doing this – we've overcome all sorts of obstacles before, but we’ve met our match in Storm Darragh!
Please do stay safe tomorrow, and we hope to see you out and about in Llanelli town centre over the rest of the Christmas period. We'll end this post on a high with a bit of good news: our first event of 2025 will be Llanelli Superhero Day on Tuesday 25th February, so mark the date in your diaries and tell the kids!
